As part its ongoing commitment to the local area, Bushey developer, Heronslea Group, has started a new initiative this month, ‘Breathing new life into Bushey’, where young trees were planted in Bushey Manor Field.
The field is a popular place for Bushey residents who come to enjoy nature all year round and a vital breathing space for local wildlife. November is the start of the tree planting season when tree roots are dormant, and young trees can be moved and re-planted without harming them. Norway Maple Acer Platanoides 'Royal Red' trees were chosen for their beautiful deep red leaves.
Shelley West Sales and Marketing Director for Heronslea Group comments: “This is a new imitative for us and something we feel passionate about. Our fields and woodlands are experiences to cherish for all the family – a place of great beauty and tranquility, where people can walk, relax and reflect and a haven in which wildlife can thrive.”
The initiative was in conjunction with Bushey Manor Field Trust, a Charitable Trust which exists to protect the Field and manage it for the benefit of all residents of Bushey. For further information on Heronslea Group visit www.heronslea-group.co.uk.
