A former historic house dating back to the 18th Century in Bushey Heath, which has been transformed by local developer, Heronslea Group, into a luxury collection of apartments, was visited this week by its previous owner. The White House, in Sparrows Herne is now built complete with residents living in their new homes.
Owned by Mandy Chody and Nigel Stanley for 13 years, The White House was their family home before being sold to Heronslea Group for re-development. Over the past 18-months The White House and it’s smaller neighbour Clay House both in disrepair, have been knocked down and traditionally re-built, designed to look the homes they were, into 16 one and two-bedroom luxury apartments.
Local residents Mandy and Nigel who own M&Y Interiors; a local interior designer company, recently went to see what their old house now looks like, Mandy comments: “It’s so beautiful, I am so impressed what Heronslea have achieved. Although they have completely re-built the house, they used its original design as inspiration bringing a tired house up-to-date, while being sympathetic with the design. The views from the apartment windows are the same views my house had, which I spent so many years enjoying. It has been a local landmark in the area for such a long time and will now continue to be thanks to Heronslea who even chose to keep its name.”
Released for the first time are before and after photos of this local landmark. The Brownfield site is now a wonderful place to live, which has captured the imagination of many purchasers with all the apartments now sold or reserved.
Shelley West Sales and Marketing Director of Heronslea Group comments: “We are so pleased Mandy and Nigel approve of what we have done to their former home. Everyone that has visited The White House has been impressed with the quality and design of the homes and we are delighted that we have now reserved the last apartment.”
The White House Phase II, 12 two-bedroom luxury apartments with secure basement parking, situated next to The White House, will be launching in spring. To register your interest and for further information on Heronslea Group visit www.heronslea-group.co.uk.
